{"id":355,"date":"2017-07-01T15:14:25","date_gmt":"2017-07-01T13:14:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.canyoutrust.me\/?p=355"},"modified":"2017-07-01T15:14:25","modified_gmt":"2017-07-01T13:14:25","slug":"chronically-ill-student","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.canyoutrust.me\/index.php\/en\/2017\/07\/01\/chronically-ill-student\/","title":{"rendered":"Chronically ill student"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>The hidden part of the iceberg at university.<\/i><br \/>\n<i>Or \u201c <b>why my biggest fear is not to fail a class<\/b> \u201d.<br \/>\n<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>TO MOVE<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you have to get your muscles to do the right thing<\/li>\n<li>you have to be careful not to fall<\/li>\n<li>not to punch someone<\/li>\n<li>not to break anything<\/li>\n<li>not to forget what is in your hands<\/li>\n<li>not to drop or to throw anything<\/li>\n<li>all of these can happen if you don\u2019t pay attention<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>TO ANSWER<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you have to focus<\/li>\n<li>to understand that someone is talking to you<\/li>\n<li>to understand that someone wants an answer<\/li>\n<li>to remember the sentences they\/she\/he said<\/li>\n<li>to understand it<\/li>\n<li>to know\/find the answer<\/li>\n<li>to build a comprehensive sentence<\/li>\n<li>to say it<\/li>\n<li>to do all of these in few seconds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>TO PLAN<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>to sleep, to study, to rest, to go to the hospital<\/li>\n<li>how many medical certificates can be accepted<\/li>\n<li>to manage with the planned and unplanned<\/li>\n<li>if you will need specific fittings for your exams<\/li>\n<li>if your body will be able to work the night shift<\/li>\n<li>if you can stay invisible or not as a spoonie<\/li>\n<li>if others can count on you in a group work<\/li>\n<li>if you can count on yourself (spoil: probably not)<\/li>\n<li>how to react to discrimination, ableism included<\/li>\n<li>how to react if the university want to dismiss you<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>IN SILENCE<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>you may suffer like hell<\/li>\n<li>you may be in a huge conflict with your brain<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Well.\u00a0<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>Now, maybe you have an idea for what i\u2019m anxious in my everyday student life.
